High definition (HD) of video streaming was first ever started at Vimeo on Oct. 2007.  Also Vimeo gives its mobile phones compatibility with iPhone 3Gs and iPod touch. Vimeo achieved 3 million members and more than 16,000 new videos uploaded daily on March, 2010. It is ranked 8th video hosting site in 2011.  Vimeo arranged an annual award function in Oct. 2010 in NY City. The competition received more than 6500 entries; the winner won a big prize of $25,000 for a short documentary film. Although Vimeo is very clean site among other sites, it is prohibited in China, Thailand, Vietnam and in Iran due to some political issues created in 2009.
